Attention: - Sir/Madam,

I am Mr. Thomas R. Smith, I solely deal on purchase of vehicles from
various auction companies in United States of America, such as Copart,
Insurance Auto Auction (IAA) and Manheim for my customers. I hereby
wish to propose a business partnership with you whereby I bid/win for
these vehicles then you do your part by helping me with the purchase
of these vehicles with the customer's funds.

This business will profit us because we get to earn 10% of the total
cost of each vehicle purchased; this said sum will be shared equally
amongst us (The Bidder and the Buyer).

for more detailed information if you are interested.

Best Regard,

The email is a classic example of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam with promises of a large sum of money being transferred to the victim. Anyone responding to it will be told that there is a fee/tax/insurance payment to be paid to receive the money. This will be followed by payment after payment until the victim runs out of money or realises that they are being scammed.
