Telephone number +19179795294 is being used as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam by someone claiming to be "Gary Smith". The telephone number is included in the following Advance Fee Fraud email that is being sent to victims:
Attention:

I am Diplomat Addo Mike Agent of the United Nations Inspection Unit at Ghana, working hand in hand with the Department of Security and Border Protection.

During our investigation, I discovered an abandoned shipment of consignments and when scanned it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in a metal trunk box weighing approximately 25kg each. But the boxes have been transferred to the United Nation head office in New York under the United Nation Delivery Committee. this is the diplomat In-charge of your boxes in New York (diplomat Gary Smith: you can contact him on this line: +1(917) 979-5294

The email was sent from the email address "Diplomat.Addo Mike <diplomat.addo_mike@yahoo.com>", with the subject "URGENT REPLY".

The email is a classic example of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam with promises of a large sum of money being transferred to the victim. Anyone responding to it will be told that there is a fee/tax/insurance payment to be paid to receive the money. This will be followed by payment after payment until the victim runs out of money or realises that they are being scammed.
