Telephone number +12292614356 is being used as part of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam Scam by someone claiming to be "Chad Wolf", Acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland security and using the email address sirchadwolfussecretary@gmail.com. The telephone number is included in the following Advance Fee Fraud Scam email that is being sent to victims:
The email is a classic example of an Advance Fee Fraud Scam with promises of a large sum of money being transferred to the victim. Anyone responding to it will be told that there is a fee/tax/insurance payment to be paid to receive the money. This will be followed by payment after payment until the victim runs out of money or realises that they are being scammed.
The email was sent from the email address "Mr Secretary 247 <szgmra@biznetvigator.com>", with the Reply-to address "Mr Secretary 247 <sirchadwolfussecretary@gmail.com>" and the subject "Attention".I'm Chad Wolf, the new acting secretary of U.S. Department of Homeland security appointed by President Donald Trump. Office Address: 3801 Nebraska Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016, United States.
I received a report that you have an unclaimed fund of US$5,000,000.00 (Five Million United States Dollar) in West Africa. I have instructed ECOWAS and the concerned authorities to bring the consignment box containing your
total fund to our Head office in Washington DC. The said fund will be here today. Therefore, you are expected to reconfirm your Full Name (as stated on your government-issued photo ID), Home Address, Nearest Airport and your
